How Curious

So hopefully we are back on our feet again this month and ready for a new book. I have started The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and I absolutely LOVE it. From those of you that I have talked to, this seems to be the consensus. How are people feeling about a meeting date? I was thinking either June 16th, 17th, or 24th. Does anyone have a preference or scheduling conflict?

For those of you that have not yet purchased the book, you will be happy to know that it just came out in paperback! I was delighted to find that this was the case when I walked into Borders on Saturday. I started it on Sunday and am more than halfway through at this point. It is a quick and very interesting read. I hope that you all feel the same!

Please post or email me with convenient dates for a meeting. I look forward to reconvening this month!

HAPPY READING...

I just finished this book and it was a real page turner. mark haddon put me in the mindet of an autistic adolescent boy, a place i hadn't been to in a while. it was light hearted, innocent and a simple window on how great life is and can be if you look at it the right way.

i need more recommendations in a similar spirit.
